Description
: A large specimen with with a string of small amethyst crystals across the matrix.  Nearly all are glassy clear, and from violet tint to purple. A few have no or little tinting.  None of the crystals are so dark that you can't see into them.  No apparent damage to the amethyst with the possible exception of one crystal, I'm not sure if it is damage or poor development.  Many of the faces of these crystals are glass smooth.  All this setting on a nice deep gray drusy quartz matrix.
